yes, mr. gary took his new 82's home from the shop this weekend and like all of us, he has started to play with them. I believe the top sheets have ha s coat or two but he's waiting on some specail base wax before he buts his 16 coats on!  Best news is that he's decovered there is a small amount of orange in the skis which will match his boots and helmet...........

OK Ron, I do have an orange jacket and orange helmet and some Orange Fischer RX8's.....NO orange boots thank you!

Yes, I did collonite wax the tops of my Head IM82's, yes,  acid green skis with a sniggle of orange. This is to help protect those pretty skins and cut down on wind and snow drag...well, maybe just makes them look shinny.

When it comes to those virgin bases or on any ski I get on my ski bench...they get a full treatment of assorted waxes for preparation and finsh..... AND the lousier the weather is outside before ski season, the more coats of wax my quiver gets.

Yep...just counting down the days!
