Dawg's end of 07, pre-08 inventory ski sale!
« on: September 10, 2007, 06:51:09 am »
Here's the link to epic for the leftover 07 skis and pre-ordering of 08 skis. Scott, AKA, Dawgcatching is where a lot of folks get their skis. He's very honest and dependable. Good guy.

Opinions, expertise and your superb knowledge needed!!

Shouldn't be considering buying, but am anyway.
Dawgcatching has Wild Thangs with bindings mounted in 153 for $399 minus 5%.

Lynn, that would be a great western, loose/soft snow ski for sure. I vote yes. If you do want to buy, let me know. Make sure you tell Scott you are a Bear from Epic and please use my name. Have him put a 2:1 tune on them.

Just speaking with Michael, he is going to give it a look through.

Lynn, did you look at the Burning luv?  (isn't that a STD? :) )

Also, what do you want them for? The Burning Luv would be a good groomer, soft snow up to a few inches.

AWESOME!!!? now, does the outfit match those pink boards?

The Burnin' Luv is a much bettter all-around ski.  115-68-99, that's a nice sidecut with good balance of float and carveability. If you do decide to buy a new ski, this gets my vote. Now if its a powder, leftover ski, then the Head gets my vote.

Hi Lynn,

Here is my official right gear/best bargain suggestion (I should trademark that)!

2007 Head Monster i.M72 skis w/ bindings 156 cm

http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Head-Monster-i-M72-skis-w-bindings-156-cm_W0QQitemZ220148700071QQihZ012QQcategoryZ62183QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Peters review: "Head mints yet another potential classic. The 72 blends the best of the 70 and the 75 and adds a new feeling of responsiveness and agility. This is a superb ski for almost anything except out-and-out bottomless powder or 40mph back-country blasting."

You can join the "Chicks with quivers" club at Epic!

Cheers,

Michael
