Hey Gang,
Rich just emailed me saying he can't make the RS2 trip to Steamboat. We're now at 6 and hoping there are a few more to join us as we get closer to lift off.

Pass the word.

Best,
Gary

there were no issues last year so I can't imagine any issues this year and YES, the laughing part is key.

Jim, Ron's right..no issues and lots of laughing!

People on the same run may take different lines to get to the bottom  (cause they're so freakn' wide), but we end up at the chair together.

Some may duck in and out of the trees or a bump run that ends up again at the same chair but the fact remains, we always were together.

Hey, whether we have 6 or whatever number, we watch out for each other.

I can say for sure, I know if they have powder, Ron and I will take one day with the Steamboat Powder Cats for some untouched powder and tree skiing. They have intermediate, advanced and expert group runs. So if anyone wants to give it a shot, it's an experience you may want to repeat as long as the wallet and good sense allow.

It's snowing in the west...yahooo!

Jim, no worries. We all stayed together without too much problem. And it is very enjoyable to watch Gary and Michael ski. so smooth. Now Ron on the other hand seems to have a liking for powder, straight up, in the mouth. Won't wait for apres. Dives right in face first. ;)
( sorry Ron, I couldn't resist...still have this image in my head of you sitting in a nice pile of soft snow with it sticking to you everywhere)

I don't recall that specific image but I am sure it did and will happen again!  I was fortunate to get many more pow days after that trip and have much improved my mogul, pow and crud prowess. The biggest improvement came once I got those mojo90's they made it much easier and even more fun to be in those conditions and trees too!  In the word of mr. cassara, "own that mogul"   :o

I just remember you sitting and enjoying the moment. It was quite funny.
No help from Coach Cassara for YOU this trip. You gotta let the rest of us try to catch up. You've been hogging the expertise all to yourself! ;)

Falling in the snow.....yes, one must taste of the white, roll in the white, feel the air between you and the white, and relish that moment if one is to experience...
embarrassment, fear of falling in front of firends, and a cold arse. Nah.....falling is all part of the sport. Pushing yourself to improve, experiencing new challenges means were living and experiencing life....well that along with Advil and a hot tub!

Best,
Gary

Thank you Ron...however I must politely decline animals that quack, cheese that smells like the YMCA and animals we get wool from.

The rest....well is fair game. (chuckles  ;D ;D ;D)

ROn...ROn....can you sing the song "Old McDonald had a farm..."

Elk does not quack, does not give us wool or is not a stinky cheese...

Therefore...."Get in me belly" I certainly will enjoy the Elk tenderloin thank you.
