Remember when Killington was so proud to be first to open last to close???..it's been a long time since I rode in the back of that pick up truck trailer to make turns in the North Glades in October.

I love skiing, but this is prime mountain biking season..I can wait another month and change-"To every thing Turn, Turn Turn" as the Psalm goes (at least according to Roger McGuinn!).

Bumps are the hot video topic this year--every ski forum (pmts, epic, peak skier, and TGR) are full of bump videos and how to videos right now.  Do you think the somewhat lean winters in soecific areas have shifted the focus from Pow 9a rarity) to bumps (a seasonal guarantee) for experts and their expectations??  That's what happened in the last really lean snow decade: The 1980's!  History is so repitious and all that.
