They can't be serious - The SkiA
« on: November 26, 2012, 05:48:57 pm »
This has to be one of the most ridiculous attempts at delivering a dry land ski training device ever: http://www.skia.com/

And they're now an advertising sponsor on EpicSki.

I'm not even going to bother listing all of the fallacies showing why this device can't even begin to approximate the correct balancing movements we use when skiing.

BASS approved... and that should tell you all you need to know about the SkiA.
All-Mountain: A common descriptive term for boots or skis that are designed to perform equally poorly under a variety of conditions and over many different types of terrain.

I liked the part about the sweet spot on the front of the ski being longer than behind and "more easily twisted".
I probably should buy one, 'caused haven't even learned how to twist the front of the ski without the rear of the ski also wanting to twist.
I would love to know how many they sell? We know what P.T. Barnum always said!
