Powder ball falls from tree

Well ya missed it...ya should have been there. There we were the 4 of us, Holiday Valley, powder fell through the day and we stopped along a trail where the snow was bumped up, scraped off, and crud-ed up. We were discussing a line to take where we could sneak more powder, and from above I heard a shoosh and plop....Ron was standing next to me was the intended target now with helmet and hood covered and filled with powder the size of a bowling ball. Yep...fell right out of the tree, hit him square on the head.

My first instinct was to return the powder to the the snow surface so the next skier by could enjoy it. Ron, while stunned by this event, fell over like an oak tree providing Tom and Jerry entertainment for the rest of us...good ole Ron!

Never seen that before....Bulls eye, Ron....you're a powder magnet!
