What this kid can do on two wheels is amazing:

The video is on the front page of this cycling blog, and is entitled Industrial Revolutions (scroll down a bit to find it).  If you recall the opening scene in James Bond's Casino Royale with the Free Running acrobat/artist/athlete (hard to categorize this genre), you will have an idea of what this trials cyclist can do with his bike.  Truly astounding.  And the setting in which he performs makes it just that much more interesting and compelling.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

This is just astounding. The son of a co-worker is into Parkour (that's the formal name for the opening episode of Casino Royal) and in fact has trained with the guy that did it in the movie and was on TV in a Parkour competition (leader of the Northern Virginia "tribe"), but this guy on the bicycle is even more impressive.

It's just astounding the balance that he has.  It's one thing to land a jump or a flip on a pair of feet, but a whole different game to land it on a pair wheels.  And the height that he can climb is awesome.  I've seen video on mtb bunny hops, but he's jumping 3-4 feet off the ground with minimal "ramp".  Just amazing. :o :o :o :o

His 180 from one rail track to the other got my mouth hanging open.

No kidding.  And hopping across the open gaps on top of the rusted-out boxcar, from one thin support beam to the next.....it's amazing he still has all his limbs intact.  Just incredible balance and skill.  Makes me want to miniaturize my mountain bike..........   Nawww......maybe not.......

I love watching danny McCaskill...check out this older video of the same rider...some of the most creative Urban riding I've ever seen, it's like watching a super hero.  Oh, and the Band of Horses Tune that accompanies video is fantastic!

Hey Liam,

Just watched that clip -- Amazing! I had never heard of Danny MacAskill before seeing the Industrial Revolutions video.  Just amazing balance and skill.  I am in awe.  I'll have to check out more of his stuff.
