Anyone have experience with Atomic Metron M10. M11 sounds stiffer than I want.

No experience, but if you read through Peter's reviews you'll find the he frequently recommends the "second level" ski in a family as much more appropriate for the vast majority of skiers than the top end.  I've heard this said about the M10 as well.  Of course, depends a lot on your abiltiy, what you are looking for and how you ski.

Give us some info on your size and skiing ability. I've been on the '04-'05 M10 and found it to be a lot of fun.
Carves nicely but has versatility. ski it on the shorter side.

Ended up getting the M10 05-06 skin in 164. Or is that 165. I can't remember.
Incredible turns. Even used it on the race course to great effect though it can get tiresome in tight turns. Long GS, it screams.
Pretty good in moguls, but once again, not as fast a turner. Great in Powder. Overall. I am extremely happy..... Except the skis are heavy. When you get tired, jump turns can be a hard thing to do if you are in a chute. It is mainly those bindings...

I also have the bindings 1 notcth forward for most everything. If I get deep powder, I move them back.

I have both the B5 and the M10. I'm 5'10" @ 240. I love my M10's, 164. I spend most of my time at a smaller ski area. The 10's are more forgiving then the B5's, easier to initiate a turn, good in crud, but definitely have a speed limit.  On the bigger slopes, I perfer the B5's. Better edge hold (for us NE skiers), much much faster top end, that I really never use. I ski a 162. Personally, I demoed the 11's, and didn't like them. If you are looking for a 1 ski - carver, these are great skis.
