I LOVE JARRED GARLIC!!! so easy!
And I know you probably would not find my coffee up to your standards,
but you must realize that you live in a rarefied java strata.

As opposed to scooping out with a spoon????

And there is ALWAYS some skin sticking to the garlic which must be teased off. Time consuming. :D

when we are at the boat I will show you. It's very easy and simple and it actually tastes like garlic..... That minced stuff doesn't taste very good, it's kind of soured and what's with that oil it comes in???

Back to the Delonghi for a moment....Ron, how the devil are you gonna pack that thing and schlep it all the way out west? It doesn't exactly look miniature....way bigger than a Bialetti, anyway.  Is it actually small enough to fit in your suitcase?

I'll UPS's it around. It's just a couple of pounds. I was going to just leave it there but I think it needs to come to J-hole and whistler too! It really makes nice espresso, I was really suprised at the quality. For $100 shipped, you can't go wrong. It even is pump driven!

Wow, no wonder you couldn't say no.  Let me know how it holds up after a good road test.  Might have to get one myself for our travels...that Tundra ski wagon has lotsa room for that kind of thing.   ;D ;D ;D

Say, have you ever had good (I mean REALLY good) coffee out of one of those superautomatics? Jura, Saeco, and their ilk...? The tax man allows one new coffee machine every year, and our business needs another coffee machine.  ;)  A superauto would be just the thing for a dinner party or a quick shot on the run.  Trouble is, all the shots I've tasted, even from $4500 Jura's set to their strongest, hottest brew, were still worse than what I get from my $20, 25 year-old Bialetti.  If they're all that bad, I'd never turn it on.  Saeco, though, seems to be the exception -- the coffee I had out of one of theirs was at least hot, and had some punch behind it.
