Yes, wanted a chance to be there long enough to not feel wiped out from the altitude.
Will do my best to scout out where the coverage is good.
But, if Phil is coming, then we can rely on his Steamboat expertise!!

For any that don't already have their reservations, Steamboat announced  last Thursday a bundle of 2 free lift tickets per day of lodging reservation for new reservations made between now and Nov. 26th for visits to Steamboat before Christmas.  Guess that says something about vacation bookings thus far, but is a pretty awesome deal I think.

Very cool deal! I am hoping that the coverage is good and the mountain opens a little more terrain. Typically, the Pioneer ridge are doesn't open until the week before Christmas.

WAHOOO....the snow gods blessed us with some great snow.

I have to agree with Gary on this one.  I don't mind if the clouds puke snow (or dump, or whatever),

but I'm sort of concerned about "gods" (snow or Greek or anykind) "puking" on the mountain.  Not a clean, snow-white image in my mind.

Jim...it's got to be one of those youthful freerider, backcountry words.

As men of distintion (old) and farm boys from Kansas... 8) we prefer "Gods unloading their heavnly white bounty" ....

See....pukeing...no no no.....
