You're being influenced by the wrong peers.? ?;D >:D I'm not buying any new skis this year.

And I think I know who you are being influenced by,? 8) because you are buying the Vision Vapors because they look good.

Are you replacing the Every Thangs or enhancing your quiver?   :-\

Hi Jim:

Finally put the new Fischer Vapors to the test in varying conditions and they performed like a charm.? Skied 3 days in 8 inches of powder, spring crud, and hard-pack ice conditions.? Everything that can be encountered? in the Northeast in late March.? Found them to be responsive and easy to handle in all conditions.? I've been skiing on a quicker-turning 68 waist ski with a standard bniding (not free flex), so there was some getting used to the very different feel in a wider ski with a much different binding technology.? In general, the wider waist does not respond well to short quick turns so there is more patience required overall in handling the ski.? All in all, I'm very happy with the ski and look forward to many hours of joyous gliding.

Update!!!

Ron has found two places with the VV'S.
Best price$399.
My trigger price is $299.

Anyone feeling competitive with Ron????  ;D ;D

Seriously, Thank you for the hunting Ron.
But also seriously, the trigger price is under 300.
Serendipity must come into play here or not at all.

Nope, Agreed! I actaully put a request in for http://milehighathletic.com/snow/index.php for your skis. I am calling them today to see if I can post their link with the free shipping for Realskiers as well.

Lynn....so I'm assuming the Heads are going to be sold?

You want that everyday ski and I know the Vapor really hit your "hot hot hot" button when you skied them.

I was just researching a ski that could be nice spacer between the Head or Fischer...

Next time some big snow falls.....see if you can demo or rent a pair or Nordica Olympia Victory. Peter LOVED these woman specifc skis...

Check this out:

126? ? 84? ? ? 112

he rated them outstanding for 50/50 front backside, powder, ice and moguls.

They come in 146, 154 and 162 lengths.

Check out the new 2009 Nordica reviews posted.

This could be THE ski to rent on a powder day!? ?;D

Hey Guys
I think I did demo the Nordica's at SB last year. Not sure of the exact model.
Too stiff for me. I took  them back after two runs. Too much ski for my height, weight and probably most of all, abilities.
