And it's a Beautiful
« on: September 06, 2008, 10:41:50 am »
Proud to announce the birth of a baby girl...who since they have yet to pick a name I've decided in my infinate "grandfathers" wisdom to name her Snowflake..... ;D

I'm sure that won't fly but hey....it's MY grandaughter.....ri ght? ::)

Anyways, 6lbs 8 oz....20 inches long....and cute as a button.

Mom is doing very well...loved the epidermal....slept 2 hours then had Snowflake..hmmmm... nice ring.

Now.....I'm thinking some 99mm carving skis.....

Ron thought I should name her Harold... :o

Best and yes....I'm on a cloud!? ;D

Congratulations!!!!

ER, Gary, its epidural. Yes, many women love that bit of technology.

I think SNOWFLAKE is a FANTASTIC name.

However, kids being kids, her future classmates
might jump on the shortened "FLAKEY" and make her life miserable.

AGain, glad all went well. Everyone must be super excited and quite tired. At least YOU won't be responsible for any 4 am feedings!

Gary:

Congratulations, very glad that everything went quickly and smoothly.

By the way, is Greta close enough to Garrett (close enough to Gary) to suggest?

Best wishes to all.  And we know that when the phone rings at 3AM, you'll be right there to help.

Thanks to all..

We just got back from the hospital and ...well don't hold me to it, but...they're strongly considering Hayden....

Welll I personally love the name...hmmm....Stea mboat....Hayden.... .hey...that's pretty close to Snowflake, well at least in the winter.

Thank you Jim for the "G" conection....I'm hoping they stick with Hayden.

Lynn.....yes...you would know these things. Kara, (mommy) is doing so well. The baby eats, sleeps, rids the body of waste and starts the process all over again 4 hours later.

What a life!

Such a great gift to see new life brought into the world.....hmmm..... very very close to not having to pay for new boots, new skis, new ski jacket, new ski pants,  and a free 5 mountain pass out west with all flights paid for whenever one wants......wow is that not just as terrific and a blessing!   ;D Still, Hayden I think is a special gift that keeps on giviing!

Thanks again for all the nice thoughts!
G

Much happiness and health to the entire Cassara family. Hayden is a wonderful name? but we'll just know her as " the gold metal winner"?

HELP ALL.

You know, sometimes it is really hard to understand the nuances of communication on the Internet (either forum or email) since it is missing the tonal inflections and facial expressions that communicates so much information when we talk face to face.

Does anyone else get the glimmer of an impression that one Mr. Gary Cassara might be just a little bit proud of his granddaughter??
