I ran across a killer deal on Goat's yesterday and had to buy them......

Now selling my Dynastar LTD's in a 172, any one interested??

FWIW, I don't remember when you said that "you wouldn't buy any new skis this year" but all of us that have been here more than a day or two knew better.  Why would you even consider making such a rash statement, especially with the economy in the shambles that it is? We need your ski dollars circulating!! 

In fact, I have it on good authority that the price of oil only started falling because the rumor got out on Wall Street that Ron was planning on buying skis and everyone saw that as a leading indicator of economic recovery.

Contratulations on your new purchase.  I don't want to make a Gary-like faux-pas, but I still remember when "goat" meant GTO (as in Pontiac) and most everyone used STP in their cars (way too sticky to "slather" anywhere else").   

Now, what I want to know is when Gary will follow suit.  He usually isn't too far behind you in making that "first ski of the year" purchase??
