Parks are definitly dangerous, my son opened his scalp on one out West requiring stitches and a day off for the concussion.  Yes, he wasn't wearing his helmut that we made him take.  Like Gary Busey, he wears one now.

I'm surprized the parents don't have to buy/sign for tickets already.  But I'm not concerned about the encroachment of snowboarding into skiing, too many relatives do it and there will always be skiing.
