Well,l at Beanos its prix fixed, so whether you eat fries or a venison chop, its still gonna cost you $100!  Let us know. Its really up to you.  We're aslo looking to go to Zachs cabina nd Grouse Mountain grill.  Of course one of my all-time favorites sis still the Dustry boot, great buffalo burgers, tex-mex and killer fries (don't let Gary steal them all) Also, good selction of microbrews. A first day must!

Sounds like great food....looks like great skiing...and for for sure....

AWESOME COMPANY!

Yup, hide the fries.....my order of cottage cheese and burger just doesn't sound as good!

28 days and counting!

or is it 4 coats of wax and counting?

Just will need a final Beaver Creek temperature to apply the temperature appropriate wax and bingo, super glide! (sure beats the heck out of just sitting around the house with the clouds and the rain)!

Still hoping to get some runs on the local mountain before heading to the Beav..Needs to be colder for sure!

Michael, the Spats in Wisconsin, in November....a....wh ere?

I'm thinking if there's snow and with the limited vertical, and with those boards,  if you could get 2 turns in...

Oh well...it's still 2 turns. So have you decieded to bring them to BC?

Midwif...come on man...come out and join us, invitation is open.?
I know you have other plans, just busting!

Sure would be great though to be able to follow the snow, yep.....one can dream!

Fredm 8...you got the long haul to get here but like for us...it is without a doubt, worth the wait.

Ok Michael, Ron is going to be watching over our caloric and carb intake. We'll be eating great food. Ron knows Beaver Creek.
You are also busting a move on world travel....wow. Taking your skis to China?
Sounds like great adventures .....hope the work is interesting!

AND FOR SURE....the weather is looking good. Just want to put my order in for 1 foot of new snow? each night we're there.

27 days and counting.

Best,
Gary

Yes, I'm bringing the Spats to BC! I'll also bring the Monster 88's. I'm on the fence about the Worldcup RC or possibly even my son's RX8's. I'm even considering demoing a few firm snow skis if a good demo shop exists. I'll decide based on weather just before leaving.

I have a 4th ski in the quiver; I purchased a Dynastar Inspired by Nobis (A.K.A. the 8800) in a 188cm. The price was right and if I ski with my son later this winter he'll get the Monsters while I ride the Inspired.

The Spats in Wisconsin  ::) . I'd like to see how they handle on firm snow. I think they will be great in powder but I need to feel competent on some good old Wisconsin man-made. If I can get to the bottom on milled ice, I'll be all set in BC.

Food, I'm good with almost anything. I lost a few Lbs on my last couple ski trips, and that's a good thing  ;D.

Cheers,

Michael

Man, you are a real ski horse. Well if  you've got the room, why not bring the whole kit and kabodle?

I guess knowing the weather potential will dictate what you'll be bringing..makes sense. The Dynasatar is a big mountain ski..I'll bet those babies prefer to run wide open!

The RX8's and a big snow ski probably would easily do the job if you're traveling light.

The Spats..getting to the bottom on milled ice..I know you mean skiing to the bottom...cause the alternative hurts! Yep, I supposed if you can ski those in Wisconsin, you can ski them anywhere!

I emailed you this morning about the restuarant choices. Didn't know if you got it or maybe you have a new email address.

Traveling for work and loosing weight?.....got you skiing weigh on....we're sure to get some good day workouts and good eats!

Best,
Gary

Beanos for 4- booked for Wednesday. I also have a 20% off coupon so drink up, the tips covered.  Michael, yes, there are a couple good demo shops, one is located in the building where we are staying.

I am bringing the SS's and 82's. Looks like Grouse Mtn will be open and Bachelor's Gulch is looking good as well. The pics on the web at Centennial are awesome, I can tell that there is a lot of snow there.

Well folks, as of yesterday, there were 19" of new snow at the Beav' the mid mountain is showing a nice base;especially for this time of the season. I am at the Oklahoma airport as I type and I can tell you there ain't no skiing anywhere near here (I don't think theres much of anything, anywhere near hear to do with the exception of cow tipping). This just makes it worse.

Midwif....when I'm out sking with a group, we always watch out for each other. We find terrain that's suitable for the skiers ability, maybe ski a parallel run and meet at the bottom, or make some runs together, meet at lunch, and do it again.

It'a about the skiing but about having a great time with all.

Anytime you want to join in, man or woman, don't hesitate.

Ron, you need to immurse yourself in a pile of snow somewhere...up to your eyeballs. Soon grasshopper.....soo n!

Best,
Gary
