Well thats a great deal on a great ski, congrats.

I'm a little surprised that you have heard multiple criticism of the current Look bindings. Generally, Looks are well liked and I've been able to use them with a low DIN setting and can remember only one false release. I've never had an injury on any binding, but I also never exceed recommended DIN settings.

I know some Dynastars have the "wine-bottle" plate for the heel binding, while others are flat and will accept any binding. If your ski accepts any binding, consider another make and sell what you have on eBay. But I would not be concerned about the safety of the Looks. If you want to PM me with the sellers info, I would appreciate it.
