Wow, no snow crystals growing between your toes Lynn.

Sure is something we can all kick around more when we get together in December. From my viewpoint, Steamboat is one of the nicer resorts that gets early snow. Easy access by air, 30 minutes to the resort from the airport, not too high an elevation for sleeping and breathing, a very user friendly mountain with great variety of terrain, great restaurants, a cowboy town..

Biggest for me though are the quality and quantity of snow they get early and the ease of access.

Loveland and A-basin get early snow but they are really in the sticks. Mammoth and Whistler can get dumped on but again, hard to get to. Vail and we know Beaver Creek are also great but I think the advantage goes to Steamboat in the snow department.

More on this I'm sure at RS2.

Best,
Gary
