Lynn,

Not to worry!  October 4 was  a long time ago.  Ron will surely have sold those skis by now  :)

Very pretty.
Hope it lasts and provides the base for future storms.
Do you think Ron used his new skis? (cause I am sure he bought new ones for this season!)
Or old rock skis?

Hey LP,

Makes sense. If I recall, the Pulse are 77mm?

I have read good things about The Ski.  And Scott certainly makes great products.  The good thing is, there are plenty of great skis in the 90mm range to choose from.  You should have fun demoing this winter.

How sad....separated from a beloved pair of skis.  What's up with that? Did you sell them? Loaned to a friend? Stored at a friend's, awaiting your return?
Hi Svend,

My Rev 85's went from Big Sky to Tahoe so that Philpug could remount the bindings I had purchased/installed at BS. They were mounted to far back and it really impacted the way the Rev's skied. I liked the Rev's, with the caveat that they were just too close to my Hart Pulse skis. High Angles had cautioned me about this when I did my purchase. Phil sold them in his ski shop Labor Day Sale for pretty much what I paid for skis/bindings, so, I have a credit at Start Haus. The buyer is an Epic member from Oregon. Phil and I will work something out, maybe The Ski  that I demo'd for a day in Big Sky. Good Carver, soft tips for bumps.

@Liam

I did read the Real Skiers reviews for you proposed K2 purchase and they were very positive. The reviews of the K2 line were very much in line with Phil's thinking they want to make skis that the public will enjoy skiing. I'll have to demo some K2's this season.

Liam

A common malady for we skiers this time of year. My Head Rev 85's will spend this winter in the Pacific northwest, so a hole exists in my quiver...again.

Snowhot, philpug, et al:  I was just joshing.  I'm not gonna start a mega helmet or my pass got pulled for speeding in total control in a slow zone thread on your forum.  At least not to collect prestige points  ;D

I'll be on snow in a few weeks ... Can't wait!!!!  Peace, snow, and wicked angles be unto all skierdom!  (And save your foul tempers for the iPhone auto spelling mangler tool)

Welcome back to the posting life, Lynn.  I lured you into posting twice in one day!  Stick around, please.  The place is more fun with you around.

I look  forward to the last months of biking, the first days of skiing. I hope to take a lesson or two this winter and improve.

Watch out for that minefield Lynn.  PMTS was the inflammatory topic of the last decade.  Lessons are the new topic.  Take a look at the epicski.OnTheSnow.c om site.  Disputes over lessons have run a thread up to 15 pages in very little time  :o

That thread reveals the secret to gaining passholder status quickly at OnTheSnow.  Find a fault line running through the ski line with many skiers on both sides.  Start a thread by implying moral superiority for one position.  Feed the fire occasionally with new posts.  Each post will produce many thumbs up from your "co-religionists."  Voila, passholder status in days.  I'm thinking of joining that site to see how quickly I can rack up passholder status  ;)
