Actually, I guess what's disgusting is that there must be a market for this stuff.

For the most part they do. When you're having them at the biological age we're meant too; 15-20. In this day and age we are sociologically out of synch with the biological imperative. And modern medicine is at the mercy of medico-legal liability.
And tonight, I will once again stand vigil on the front lines of the anti-spam brigade. Though, it was interesting to note that most of the spam occurred in the early morning hours.

Wondering when Peters going to make the changes.
My favorite bumps are for sure out west. Most eastern bumps get so chewed up plus getting a rhythm is much harder and the eastern bumps are usually rock hard.

Nothing that I know of. This weekend used to be the end of daylight savings time, but now's it's later.
It may be that someone has old software (either in the forum on on your computer).
The time and the boot post are both visible to me.
Other helpers, does anyone else see the problems that Lynn is seeing?

However, over the years, I have learned that the number one COMPUTER PROBLEM is --? ta-da --? User Error.
Corrective action.? ?--? Reboot the person, when they wake up in the morning all will be OK.? Their internal computer reboots overnight.
The number 2 source/corrective action is (courtesy of Microsoft) befuddled memory.
Corrective action.? --? Reboot the computer and everything will be OK.
Alternatively, the database probably runs some maintenance scripts at night and one of them may have fixed whatever the problem was.

How did I misss this gem of a thread? Yes, a lot of software made changes to time. AND listen to Jim, Microsoft has so many glitches, I always tell my folks who have a PC issue, to restart, especially if there were updates from Micro.

right now, they have very little natural snow. they have been blowing but need some good natural dumps. According to my Friend Jon, they wont' panic for another couple of weeks. This is pretty mcuh par for the course. They are expecting snow this weekend. Keep in mind that out there, it can be nothing expected and then they get dumped on. They have thier own micro climate there.

Midwif, for the conditions that we are likely to get, I REALLY think that the iC160's would be the right ski for you, probably in a 156cm length for your height and weight.? I think the 196cm GS skis from back in your racing days just won't be quite right for the trees and bumps at SteamBoat.

I will update the steamboat conditions thread later today but they have been making a lot of snow and there is another storm heading our way laer this week if the flows workout.
Oatmeal, yes, I have been eating my low sugar apples and cinnamon almost every day now. Fortunately, According to my scale, it says I should be eating about 2000 calories a day so I need to fuel up. Down to 174 as of this weekend.... Following surgery in mid April I was 183

Went to Elk on saturday. Got a few runs in. Ski patrol "looked the other way" when I ducked under the closed trail tape to try
my legs on some small ungroomed stuff, when I told them I needed the practice for an upcoming trip to SB!
Oh and BTW, if Ron works just a little bit this week, he will become the first RSer to break 1000 posts. So, Ron, make these last 10 posts MEANINGFUL. ;D

Yes, Gary, I had my beacon, telescoping poles, receiver, avalanche shovel, Air-lung device to deal with the 6" base.
Of course, I was a little nervous, since I was alone. No one wanted to chance an OB type adventure so full of danger. :o
Of course, the crowd above on the lifts, had a fine time grading the degree of back-seat, out of control swoops, I made in the smidgen of soft stuff there. ;D

Jim..my equipment is not open for discussion here ::)...however, swimming in deep snow is all truestic in body senses.
Although the deepest powder I've skied in is knee high powder, I can tell you the felling of floating almost in slow motion, the feeling of no bottom under foot, the feeling of porpoising up and down in light powder is without a doubt most delightful....freak n' rocks!!!! ;D
There is so much less strain on the knees and back than skiing groomers....it's true.
Hopefully we'll get some in bounds powder for all to play in. So far it looks like snowing there big today, tomorrow and again on Wednesday.
I'm thinking we'll be getting our fill of awesome conditions together...

Ahhh, the highly addictive feeling of flying/floating down the mountain with little sensation; almost no sound or resistance. The coolest thing is skiing in the evergreens; the sound is deadened and its a really strange feeling. Your mind has so little input from the surrounding environment as far as sound, feeling it's my favorite thing. The Closets and the area over on sunshine peak over by the far boundary is perfect. I hope we all get to experience it.

We will, there is plenty of pow up there and many of the spots I was shown are local spots so I doubt they are all played
