Post by: bushwacka on November 21, 2012, 09:31:32 am
a fun ultra technical riding area on top of the old ski area of Laurel Mountain.

rockiest singletrack you will ever see.

rock gardens are like the crud of skiing. Be aggressive, be powerful and they are fun. be weak and they will own you.

Nice pics, Josh.  Late fall riding is fun, and can challenging with all the leaf litter covering the ground.  Hides all the roots and rocks, and can be slippery when wet.  Gotta stay loose.  But there is something magical about an early morning ride, frost on the ground and branches, all quiet and still in the woods, no other riders out.  We'll bring along a small thermos of coffee, and just sit for a while at an overlook and take it all in.  Wonderful time of year to be outside.  Thanks for posting those....

Wonderful pics. Thanks for sharing
Some of those rocks are pretty intimidating.
And I admit to "fear of fall" right now.

It will wear off. :-\

Do you mean "fear of autumn"?

 8)  Pretty sure she is saying "fear of broken pelvis" and I don't blame her.
I remember it took me quite a while after my fall that broke my rib.

I knew what she meant.  Just having fun with the words.  Seems I need to use more smileys so people know when I'm kidding....  ;D

I was pretty sure that you were, but then that little evil voice in the back of my head said, "After all, he IS Candian".   ;) :o
