Just in case anyone was curious, the DynaSys 10 speed mtb cassette works with Road stuff.
I can always use a little bit of help going up little hills, so I replaced my road bike's Ultegra 12-27 cassette with a 10 speed Shimano Mountain Bike Cassette (DynaSys). First ride was today and it works and shifts great.
I already had an Ultegra mid-cage rear derailleur and Ultegra shifters, so the big gears are now 26-30-34.
As a second step, I then closed up the small gears (11-13-15-17) by using some of the gears from my original cassette to get 13-15-16-17-19-21-23-26-30-34
Note that the DynaSys components can't be interchanged with road components or with old MTB components, but the cassette works well.
