Just how good are these boots? I tried a pair that had been punched for a friend with similar feet but I did not get to ski in them (Calgary in the summer) which was a revelation as I never thought I could fit into such a low volume boot.

If I am going to go through the hassle of punching and grinding (well having an expert do it for me) a boot which ones should I really go for to replace my Lange FR120 MF (with Zipfit Expresso liners).

I am intending on sizing them around a Zipfit GP (leather lining) as I cannot face going back to a stock liner that compacts after 20-30 days hard skiing.
